1. Information Thane Collects & Uses

We collect personal and non-personal information that you provide us when using our Website, such as when you submit product reviews, participate in customer surveys, blogs, or message boards, initiate the purchase process or purchase Thane products and communicate with our Customer Service Department. Thane will only collect, use and disclose your personal information with your consent, except where otherwise permitted or required by law. The method of consent will be appropriate for the type of personal information involved and the purposes for which the personal information will be collected, used, or shared.

2. Product Purchases

When you place an order on our Website or through our call centre, you will be asked to supply personal information, such as your name, address, telephone number, email address, credit card information, billing address and shipping information. We use this data to process and ship your order, and to send you order and shipping confirmations via email. Thane will collect such information only when you provide it to us voluntarily, although you cannot place an order without doing so.

From time to time, we may communicate to Thane customers by mobile messages to inform them of special announcements, special offers that might become available and other information we believe will be of interest to them. In order to accomplish this, you must provide Thane with each such friend’s name and email address. We only use this information to send your friends links to product pages which you request that they receive. Please ensure that you only submit email addresses of individuals with whom you have a personal or family relationship and who would want to receive the email.
Accessing or Updating Your Personal Information
You may access, update, or correct your personal information in our custody or control, including your name, address, email address and phone number, by contacting our Customer Service Department (see below). Subject to exceptions set out under applicable law, we will accommodate a request to access, update or correct your information.
